Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Recrulus products — Ada, the autonomous career agent, and Uche, the autonomous employer agent. By creating an account or paying for a service you agree to them.

The service

Ada rewrites CVs, matches candidates against live roles, and runs scored mock interviews. Uche screens applicants, ranks shortlists, and facilitates consented introductions between employers and candidates. Both are AI systems: they work autonomously, and while we engineer for quality, their output can contain errors and is provided as assistance, not professional advice. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or hires.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials safe. One person per account; you’re responsible for activity under it. Candidate accounts use Ada; employer accounts use Uche — the same account can switch type in the product.

Payments, subscriptions & refunds

• Pay-per-run: a run is charged once, up front, via Paystack (NGN) or Stripe (other currencies). Payment unlocks the run.
• If a run fails, you are not charged for it — failed runs are re-dispatched or refunded. Contact hello@recrulus.comwith your run reference and we’ll make it right.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled in the app; cancellation stops future charges and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the service failed or the law requires otherwise.

Acceptable use

Don’t misrepresent your identity or experience, post roles that don’t exist, scrape or resell the service, probe its security, or use it to discriminate unlawfully in hiring. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

Your CV, profile, and postings remain yours. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service on them (processing, storage, AI analysis, and — for discoverable candidates — presentation to employers). Deliverables Ada produces for you (rewritten CVs, prep questions) are yours to use freely.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Recrulus is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We may update them; material changes will be announced in the product, and continued use after that means acceptance.
